Copy agenda items in your planner, check off as you complete assignments. Agenda: 1.Silent Reading and DJ Entry: · Ready your silent reading book for 20 minutes · Complete a dialectical journal entry of AT LEAST 50 WORDS OR LESS. You should have 3 of these for me on Friday when I return to class : ) 2.Scan for Vocabulary: · Look through the article “Tattoo Rituals” by Frank Allen · Circle ALL WORDS YOU CANNOT DEFINE- 30 WORDS OF MORE!! · Divide a piece of binder paper into 3 columns. Write the word with the paragraph number in which you found it, the definition, and draw a picture or symbol to help you remember the definition. · Turn in article with your circled words and your definitions!! 3.Study Groups/Homework Time- Last 20 minutes · Use this time to complete homework for outside classes OR continue defining words from the article. HOMEWORK: · Gold Grade Check sheets due Monday · Goal sheets due Monday · 2 pages of Cornell Notes due Friday for Binder Check!!
